We all know about English songs being very famous throughout the world but did you know that there are a few Bollywood songs that are worldwide famous as well? These Bollywood songs were used in some famous Hollywood movies. Yes, you heard it right.

The theme song for the movie Bombay composed by A.R. Rahman was used in Andrew Niccol’s Lord of War.

The song Jaan Pehchan from the movie Gumnaam was represented in the movie Ghost World where the lead actress is Scarlett Johnson.

Sacha Baron Cohen’s Dictator which is a comedy masterpiece used Punjabi MC’s Mundian Tu Bach Ke Rahi in their trailer. The song was used in Amitabh Bachhan’s Boom.

Not just 1 but 2 of Mohammed Rafi’s songs were played in the famous Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind. Michel Gondry’s movie took 2 songs from Bollywood.

The American heist thriller, Spike Lee’s Inside Man took Bollywood’s famous Chaiyya Chaiyya from the movie Dil Se.

When the Zombie apocalypse breaks in store of Shaun Of The Dead, there’s a Hindi announcement, and the moment the main character walks in Kishore Kumar’s Lehron Ki Tarah Yaadein plays in the background.

In The Guru directed by Daisy von Scherler Mayer. We see Guru dancing and having fun on the beats of Chori Chori Hum Gori Se Pyaar Karenge.

Ryan Renold’s banger, Deadpool has Bollywood’s very own famous Mera Joota Hai Japani. Shree 420 by Raj Kapoor and Nargis was a  famous masterpiece. Deadpool also featured another song which is Kabhi Humne Nahi Socha Tha.

Nicole Kidman-Ewan McGregor starrer Moulin Rouge! had the catchy song from the movie China Gate which is Chamma Chamma. It was featured as an opening song.

The song Chalka Chalka Re was used in the movie Saathiya in Uma Thurman’s famous work Accidental Husband. The part of this song was used in a Tamil Wedding, they also used another Tamil song in the same scene.
