Bath has 'highest rate of daily Covid cases' in England – Somerset Live

Bath has the highest daily rate of new cases of Covid per million people in England, according to data released from ZOE Health Study.
The results, based on both public data and reports from millions of users of the ZOE Health Study app, state there are 148,488 daily cases of COVID in the UK as of today (November 23).
The health research project placed the South West at the top of the table, with figures of 1,984 to 2,824 daily new cases per million people.

Second comes the east of England, with 1,965-2,802 daily cases per million people, and Yorkshire and the Humber coming third with 1,830-2,936.
In total, they estimate that 2,092,984people are currently predicted to have symptomatic COVID in the UK, with Somerset having a total of 13,530 active cases. However, the city of Bath scored 15,078 in terms of numbers of active cases.
When we look at the number of cases per million people, Somerset as a whole county scored 24,513, which although high, is not concerningly so – Dorset has49,224, for example – but the region pf Bath and North East Somerset scored a whopping 79,318 active cases per million people, placing it as the highest in England.
