Narrowing down the best Netflix thrillers can be a challenge, given that there’s a whole bunch of great movies within the genre to choose from. The platform has it all, from more action-packed fare like Kate and The Gray Man, to more crime-based titles such as I Came By and The Guilty. Heck, there are even titles for sci-fi lovers, too, now that non-Netflix original Synchronic is available to watch.
Most recently, Netflix added the chilling Luckiest Girl Alive starring Mila Kunis, which is all about an acclaimed writer who’s been hiding her harrowing high school experience. Then there’s revenge thriller Lou, starring Allison Janney and Jurnee Smollett, which has been described as John Wick meets Taken. However, neither of these made it into the competitive best Netflix thrillers list, which is reserved for the best of the best that the streamer has to offer.
